Proficiency in cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS is essential, as you will be responsible for consulting with our stakeholders on best practices while optimizing costs. Your mastery of Kubernetes and Helm will enable you to orchestrate and deploy containerized applications seamlessly. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and translating them into efficient infrastructure solutions.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment, are passionate about automation, and possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our cloud environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will participate in a production on-call rotation in order to ensure our systems are stable beyond predictable measures.
- You will leverage your expertise, curiosity, and problem-solving skills to contribute to the design and development of our Cloud Foundations Framework.
- You will work on a team of engineers where you will provide value in a myriad of ways including systems design/development, coaching your peers, and evangelizing our products.
- You will work directly with stakeholders and partners throughout the business in order to understand and gather insights around their work so that we can leverage that information to build valuable features for them.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience across the entire SDLC, including CI/CD tools with configuration and release management, deployments, and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
- An enjoyment of technical challenges and eagerness to explore new approaches.
- An Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in addition to participating in retrospectives focused on identifying contributing causes and providing actionable solutions to prevent them from recurring.
- Fault analysis/determination and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and status to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expert with source control tooling, such as GIT, in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience engineering, deploying, and managing cloud resources and automated solutions specifically designed to provision functional, scalable, and secure cloud environments.
- Extensive knowledge of IAM as a cloud service and associated best practices/patterns
- Extensive experience with programming, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) languages to automate tasks/services (e.g. Bash, Terraform, Python, etc.).
- Expert in data archiving, backup, and disaster recovery using managed cloud services.
- Mastery of the commonly used managed services in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) with an equivalent knowledge of their APIs/CLIs.
- Strong understanding of container management and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of virtualization
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS/Debian)
