DevOPs / Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our organization as a DevOPs / Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will oversee the strategic direction, planning, and execution of our cloud and infrastructure operations to ensure the high availability, scalability, and performance of our IT systems.

CENTRL is a SaaS-based solution to support critical oversight and design-making in the  Investment & Asset management financial sectors

Job Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible and Puppet.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications on Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
• Implement & configure monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Nagios, Elastic to ensure performance and availability. 
  • Optimize resource utilization and application performance.
• Enforce security best practices within Kubernetes clusters, including RBAC, network policies, and secret management
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues
  • Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault-finding
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical scientific discipline
• 10+ years of experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• 5+ years of experience with automation tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)
• 5+ years of experience with scripting languages
• 10+ years of experience with linux system administration
• 5+ years of experience with containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernentes, EKS, Mesos)
• Experience with distributed storage technologies like NFS, HDFS, Ceph, and S3 
• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
