We're now looking for a Shopify Engineer who lives and breathes theme development, sweats the small stuff, and knows how to turn custom designs into flexible, scalable Shopify templates.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to translate Figma files into custom Shopify themes
- Build reusable components and **templatize designs** for scale across product lines or brands
- Work with third-party apps, custom scripts, and APIs to extend Shopify’s native functionality
- Create, QA, and maintain high-performance, mobile-optimized experiences
- Juggle multiple builds and iterations across brands, maintaining speed without sacrificing precision
- Partner with our CRO and analytics teams to implement tests, variants, and conversion enhancements
- Own the full front-end development lifecycle from build to production support
Must-Have Skills
- **3+ years** of hands-on Shopify theme development (Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JS)
- Deep experience customizing and extending Shopify Dawn or custom themes
- Component-based thinking – the ability to modularize UI for scalability and reusability
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus, Checkout.liquid, metafields, and theme app extensions
- Comfort working with Git, local dev tools like Shopify CLI, and deployment workflows
- High attention to detail — from pixel-perfect design implementation to managing edge cases
- Experience integrating and customizing third-party tools like Recharge, Klaviyo, Postscript, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with clear communication and deadlines

- Experience in CRO workflows — A/B testing, heatmap analysis, funnel tuning
- Experience with Hydrogen, Remix, or Shopify headless builds
- Understanding of Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and site speed optimization
- Basic understanding of Liquid performance patterns and caching
