Sr. SEO Manager

  • We are seeking a highly execution-focused SEO Lead to manage and elevate organic performance across product portfolio. This role is hands-on and operational, responsible for maintaining top SEO health scores across properties while evolving our search strategy toward GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AIO (AI Optimization).

  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within enterprise CMS environments such as Crownpeak, deep expertise in technical and Product  SEO, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues early in the development lifecycle. 

    Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Technical SEO & Platform Governance
  • Manage SEO performance across  client web properties using Crownpeak CMS.
  • Create, track, and raise SEO tickets to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain top SEO health scores across all managed websites.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in the Dev environment before production release.
  • Ensure structured data, schema markup, internal linking, canonicalization, metadata, XML sitemaps, and site speed optimizations are correctly implemented.
  • Conduct regular technical audits and recommend corrective actions.
  • 2. SEO Execution (Not Strategy-Only)
  • Execute on-page optimization including meta titles, descriptions, headers, keyword alignment, and content structuring.
  • Optimize content for search intent, medical/compliance guidelines, and user experience.
  • Drive implementation of SEO fixes—not just recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, compliance, and IT teams to operationalize SEO updates.

  • Tool Utilization & Monitoring
  • Leverage SEMrush (SEMrush) for:
  • Keyword tracking and competitive analysis
  • Technical site audits
  • Backlink monitoring
  • Early detection of SEO issues
  • Ensure fixes are validated in Dev prior to Prod deployment.
  • Establish dashboards and regular reporting on SEO KPIs.

  • 4. Evolve SEO to GEO / AIO
  • Lead transition from traditional SEO to:
  • GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) – optimizing for AI-driven search engines and generative responses.
  • AIO (AI Optimization) – ensuring Clientt content is discoverable and cited in AI-powered platforms and search experiences.
  • Adapt content architecture to align with AI-driven search patterns.
  • Implement schema and semantic enhancements to support AI indexing and generative results.
  • 5. Content Collaboration
  • Manage and guide one full-time content author dedicated to SEO updates.
  • Provide keyword briefs, optimization frameworks, and structured content requirements.
  • Ensure SEO-aligned content updates are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor content performance and iterate for continuous improvement.

  • Required Qualifications
  • 6–10+ years of hands-on SEO execution experience.
  • Strong proven expertise in Product SEO/GEO,  ( preference to Health and life sciences Products)
  • Strong experience with enterprise CMS platforms (Crownpeak preferred).
  • Proven track record maintaining high SEO health scores across multiple websites.
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Technical SEO
  • Core Web Vitals
  • Structured data & schema
  • Crawl/indexation management
  • Experience working in regulated industries (Healthcare/Medical preferred).
  • Proficiency with SEMrush and similar enterprise SEO tools.
  • Experience collaborating with development teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into execution.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with large enterprise organizations similar to Clientt.
  • Exposure to AI search ecosystems and generative search optimization.
  • Familiarity with SEO governance frameworks across global site portfolios.
  • Experience managing junior SEO or content resources.
