We are seeking an experienced Sr. SAP Functional Developer to configure, support, and lead projects across multiple SAP modules. This role requires strong hands-on configuration experience, end-to-end project exposure, and the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective SAP solutions. The position is primarily onsite in Waukegan, with periodic travel to nearby manufacturing plants.

Description of Duties:

- Configure, implement, and support SAP solutions across PP, MM, WM, IM, and QM modules

- Lead and participate in SAP projects including system enhancements, rollouts, and process improvements

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, design solutions, and develop functional specifications

- Perform system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and support go-live activities

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely and effective support

- Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, integrations) to ensure successful solution delivery

- Document functional designs, configuration settings, and business processes

- Provide user training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and SAP best practices

- Desired experience: Exposure or experience with SAP EWM

Qualifications: 

Minimum of 5 years of SAP functional experience
- Strong configuration experience in SAP PP, MM, WM, IM, and QM
- Proven experience delivering SAP projects
- Solid understanding of integrated manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated project leadership ability
- Willingness to work onsite and travel as required

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP S/4HANA experience (plus)
- SAP EWM experience
- SAP certifications in relevant modules

Education

Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
