Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:  

  • Lead and manage the Quality Department, driving quality performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Develop, monitor, and report key quality metrics (KOIs/KPIs), using data analysis to identify issues, track performance, and lead corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain quality systems, procedures, documentation, and controls to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and suppliers to define quality standards, improve processes, and ensure product and supplier quality.
  • Lead customer quality activities, including audits, corrective actions, 8D problem-solving, customer concerns, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Supervise quality personnel, training programs, testing activities, inspections, CMM and measurement systems, and Layered Process Audits to ensure effective quality assurance practices.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by benchmarking best practices, supporting preventive and predictive quality initiatives, and leading cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and strengthen the management system.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university in a technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.)

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: 

  • Three to five years' experience of managing technical personnel and complex activities, potentially in project management of complex projects.
  • The experience should be gained in engineering or technical operations including quality management.
  • Familiar with APQP and SPC concepts both theoretical and practical, CMM equipment and data analysis, problem statements and root cause analysis, common problem solving methods and techniques.

Pay range: $135,000 - $150,000 annual salary
