We are looking for a talented and motivated Sr. Quality Engineer to join our team in Corvallis, Oregon. This is an opportunity to work at the cutting edge of motion tracking, acting as the final line of defense in ensuring the quality, reliability, and visual integrity of our real-time systems used around the world.
Job DescriptionSoftware Quality & Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for major software releases, replicating complex customer workflows to ensure system stability.
- Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle with clear, reproducible steps and specific passing conditions.
- Manage the full bug-tracking lifecycle, providing timely feedback to engineers after tasks and issues are resolved.
- Maintain and record example data sets to assist in ongoing software validation and regression testing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management to provide technical feedback and author test strategies for new features.
- Support Sales and Marketing by generating high-quality motion capture content and participating in product demonstrations.
- Act as a technical bridge for the Support team to troubleshoot unexpected customer issues and research found bugs.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams across different time zones, maintaining professional and clear communication.
Process & Product Innovation
- Lead internal QA projects to consistently evaluate and stress-test both pre-existing and upcoming features.
- Influence product design by providing feature requests and feedback to help develop tools that improve ease of use for the end-user.
- Assist with the integration of third-party toolsets, thoroughly testing external workflows and providing feedback during development.
- Mentor and train team members on specialized toolsets and workflows to expand the collective knowledge of the QA department.

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience with motion capture or other camera systems.
- Eye for detail and ability to spot small inconsistencies in visuals.
- Experience forming test plans, organizing test equipment and processes, and tracking defects through a ticket tracking system.
- Experience in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, C++, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team player, possessing the willingness to seek feedback, adopt company best practices, and continuously learn and improve.
- Bonus
- Bachelor's degree focusing on game development, graphics, or other computer graphics focused degrees.
- Two or more years of experience in software quality assurance and/or software engineering.
