Job Description
Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
- Develop and maintain up-to-date standard work for the position, as well as for direct reports
- Participate in the development and maintenance activities of the site Operating System in all its phases
- Participate in daily follow-up meetings at different levels within the production area as part of the site operating system, providing timely and effective responses to problem resolution within the scope of responsibility
- Perform inspections and Gemba walks focused on early detection and subsequent correction of operational and safety issues within and outside the area of responsibility
- Participate in the plant’s internal audit program as an internal auditor
- Obtain Six Sigma Green Belt certification and apply its tools during project development and daily job performance
- Coordinate the internal quality system audit program, ISO 9001 audits, and the internal and external corrective action system (customer complaints)
- Coordinate control, distribution, and recordkeeping of quality, administrative, safety, and environmental system documentation
- Coordinate the Incoming Material Inspection department
- Coordinate agency controls related to product safety, government regulatory requirements, and external specifications
- Ensure no unauthorized changes are made that could impact agency requirements
- Coordinate the radioactive material control system
- Plan, execute, and analyze product reliability testing
- Coordinate the calibration system for inspection and test equipment
- Coordinate the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Supervise and train personnel assigned to Final Audit, In-Process Inspection, and post-audit packaging functions
- Generate Control Plans for new product families or products recently transferred from another company plant, and maintain updates to existing Control Plans
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Electronic Engineering (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position within electronics manufacturing or automotive companies
- Experience working with Asian companies (preferred)
- Knowledge and application of statistical tools and quality methods
- Knowledge and use of Six Sigma Green Belt tools
- Knowledge and use of quality problem-solving tools
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard (Internal Auditor)
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
- ESD 2020 certification is a plus
- Valid visa and availability to travel
- Knowledge of wireless connectivity devices (radio frequency)
