Job Description
Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
Develop and maintain up-to-date standard work instructions for both their own responsibilities and those of their subordinates.
Participate in the development and maintenance activities of the site’s Operating System in all its phases.
Take part in daily follow-up meetings held at various levels within the production area as part of the site’s operating system, responding promptly and effectively to problem-solving efforts related to their responsibilities or functions.
Perform inspections and Gemba walks focused on the timely detection and subsequent correction of operational and safety issues, both within and outside their area of responsibility.
Participate in the plant’s internal audit program as an internal auditor.
Coordinate the internal audit program of the quality system, ISO 9001, and the internal and external corrective action system (including customer complaints).
Coordinate the control, distribution, and record-keeping of documentation related to the quality, administrative, safety, and environmental systems.
Coordinate the Incoming Material Inspection department.
Coordinate agency controls related to product safety, government regulations, and external specifications.
Ensure no unauthorized changes are made that could impact agency requirements.
Coordinate the radioactive material control system.
Plan, execute, and analyze product reliability testing.
Coordinate the calibration system for inspection and testing equipment.
Coordinate the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Supervise and train personnel assigned to Final Audit, In-Process Inspection, and Post-Audit Packaging functions.
Create “Control Plans” for new or recently transferred product families from other company plants, and maintain updates for existing ones.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Electronic Engineering, preferably.
Advanced proficiency in English.
Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position.
Experience with World Class Manufacturing systems is preferred.
Experience in electronic board manufacturing processes or similar, preferred.
Knowledge and use of statistical tools and quality methods.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software.
Knowledge and use of Six Sigma Green Belt tools.
Knowledge and application of quality tools for problem-solving (Data Collection, Pareto Diagram, Ishikawa Diagram, Brainstorming, Histograms, Scatter Diagrams, Control Charts, Stratification, 6Ms, 5 Whys, 8Ds, etc.).
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard (Internal Auditor).
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology and tools.
Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
ESD2020 Certification is a plus.
