What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software
applications.
2. Lead efforts to create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for improved
efficiency and test coverage.
3. Conduct detailed manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance,
and security.
4. Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
6. Mentor junior quality engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
7. Analyze test data, generate quality metrics, and provide regular reports on software quality to
stakeholders.
8. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and product planning to ensure quality is built
into all phases of the software lifecycle.
9. Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their
applicability.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and
automated testing.
3. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Karate and/or Playright preferred).
4. Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test
automation.
5. Experience with with version control systems such as Git.
6. In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression,
performance, and security testing.
7. Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile
methodologies.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
environment and mentor junior team members

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $105,000 - 121,000. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.Skills Required
