The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities combined with deep technical expertise in Microelectronics (MIC) and Manufacturing processes, including Die Attach, Eutectic Attach, Epoxy Attach, Wire Bonding, Ribbon Bonding, Pull Testing, Ball Shear, and Die Shear Analysis. This role requires a results-driven professional capable of leading continuous improvement initiatives, developing high-performing teams, managing customer quality requirements, and supporting a culture of operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians, and Inspectors in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
  • Establish and execute quality strategies that support business objectives, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Drive quality assurance activities throughout the product lifecycle, from new product introduction through production and customer support.
  • Provide technical leadership for Microelectronics (MIC) manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and process controls.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities utilizing methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems and data-driven quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze process capability metrics (Cp, Cpk, Ppk) and drive actions to improve process performance and product reliability.
  • Define and maintain product acceptance and rejection criteria in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Lead internal audits and support customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, IPC, J-STD, MIL-STD, and applicable customer requirements.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to achieve quality and business objectives.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and drive initiatives focused on defect reduction, yield improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost-of-poor-quality reduction.
  • Support customer meetings, technical reviews, and quality-related communications with domestic and international stakeholders.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Valid U.S. Visa required and ability to travel to the United States as business needs require.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) required.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within electronics or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing quality teams.
  • Strong experience with Microelectronics (MIC) and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements and FAIR approval processes and submission through Net-Inspect.
  • Hands-on knowledge of: 
    • Die Attach
    • Wire Bonding
    • Ribbon Bonding
    • Pull Testing
    • Ball Shear Testing
    • Die Shear Testing
    • Microelectronic Assembly Soldering Processes.
  • Experience with: 
    • SPC
    • Process Capability Analysis (Cp/Cpk/Ppk)
    • MSA
    • PFMEA
    • Control Plans
    • Statistical Data Analysis
  • Experience leading internal quality audits and managing corrective action systems (RCPS).
  • Working knowledge of: 
    • AS9100
    • IPC-A-610
    • J-STD-001
    • MIL-STD-883

WE VALUE

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or High-Reliability Electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience interacting directly with U.S.-based customers and corporate teams.
  • Experience supporting customer audits and regulatory inspections.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • At least 6 years of experience in quality engineering or quality supervision, preferably in aerospace or related industries
  • Experience with continuous improvement and microelectronics
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory standards, and aerospace quality requirements
  • Proficiency with FMEA, root cause analysis, statistical process control, and corrective action processes
  • Experience with quality auditing, supplier quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Advanced degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
  • Experience leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on data-driven decision-making
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards including AS9100 and NADCAP
  • Ability to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within teams
