We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior QA Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough testing and meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute manual test cases for various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Review and analyze system specifications and user stories.
  • Provide clear and detailed reports on testing results and quality metrics.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior QA testers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester, with 5+ years in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Ability to understand complex software applications and their workflows.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
