The Role
Are you passionate about ensuring top-quality software? We’re looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in collaborating with developers and product managers to develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and continuously improve testing strategies and release processes. This is a fully remote role, perfect for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, Agile environments and want to have a real impact on product quality.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and design test cases.
- Execute functional testing during development and validate regression-free release candidates.
- Assist in release management and track production issues, contributing to performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Design and maintain streamlined, scalable test cases that align with UI/UX standards.
- Leverage testing tools to automate wherever possible.
- Clearly report issues in a way that’s easy for all stakeholders to understand.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate progress, risks, and blockers to the team.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in QA for integration and API-based projects with Front-End technologies (React.js, Golang preferred).
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong white-box testing knowledge and a hands-on approach to test strategy creation.
- Proficiency in querying relational and non-relational databases (INNER, LEFT, RIGHT JOINs).
- Skilled in testing and debugging REST APIs using global variables and automation tools.
- Ability to identify and log bugs with supporting evidence (dev tools, logs, AWS output, mobile testing).
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts.
