Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to Manage Design, Design - Build, and Construction projects up to $100M in Parsons Industrial Base Directorate as well as support Business Development of new projects for US DoD and Commercial clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide direction and management for medium-sized projects, or several small projects, and ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations
- Responsible for the scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives
- Plan and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them; develop in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies
- Ensure that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans
- Typically manages projects up to $100 million in total installed cost
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field
- 15+ years of related work experience is required and previous project management experience on similar or related projects
- Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements
- Familiarity with the integration of engineering/technical aspects, as well as procurement and construction activities
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects
