Sr. Project Manager

Job Description:

Primarily support the Projects and Program Delivery office with the various day to day activities of creating executive presentations, monitoring schedules, tracking progress and updating online systems.

Work with internal and external functional areas to organize the various components needed to initiate, run, and conclude portfolio-related initiatives to provide predictable, consistent, and successful project or program delivery.

Partner with key project/program stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of a project/program.  Projects typically impact a single business unit or functional area.

Manage Project and Program delivery reporting activities which include:

  • Compiling data to measure and report on all KPI’s
  • Create and maintain organizational initiative schedules, timelines, milestones
  • Identify and communicate project/program dependencies and impacts
  • Develop reports for initiative status on a weekly basis to management
  • Prepare informal and formal presentations
  • Provide portfolio and project updates in portfolio management tool
  • Execute and update management plans as necessary
  • Provide a complete view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholders
  • Coordinate meetings, as needed, to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactively communicate the project/program’s progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout lifecycle
  • Provide project/program leadership and key project/program stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions

Organization and time management skills:

  • Operates independently with moderate guidance by management
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
