Senior Project Manager – IT Projects & Programs (Hybrid - Must LIve in New York Metro Area)

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee significant IT projects and programs, ensuring successful execution while aligning with organizational objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project milestones, address risks and issues, and provide critical support to the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Information Security domain. Your role is pivotal in driving consistency, quality, and excellence in IT project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage cross-functional IT projects of significant scope and impact.
- Track and monitor project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to drive project success.
- Develop and implement standards, processes, and tools to elevate Project Management excellence within Information Security.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Conduct operational reviews of IT areas to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Review and collect metrics for reporting purposes, providing actionable insights.
- Guide teams to consistently apply necessary standards and maintain high-quality project deliverables.
This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)
- Proven experience in project and program management, with a focus on IT and Information Security (Info Security).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage complex projects effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to perform quality assurance and drive process improvements.
- Must have strong skills in MS 365 mostly with MS Project
- Must have PMP Certificate
