Position Summary:

The Senior Project Manager must have a disciplined approach to managing clients, planning, organizing and utilizing resources. This position is detail-oriented but can also think of the ‘big picture’ strategy to drive our client’s business forward while building long-lasting client relationships. Experience managing various types of projects from research & strategy, ecommerce, creative, etc. for digital clients. This person is able to organize a project and lead it from a project management perspective with autonomy while focusing on ensuring the clients needs are met or exceeded and facilitating the success of the team. This is done through effective scope, schedule and cost management. This role will require specific expertise and experience in ecommerce and CMS integrations. Not required but knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Own project management for key accounts and projects with a focus on schedule, scope, and cost. 
  • Establish and manage project plans while partnering with the client and internal team members to ensure success. 
  • Define, manage and execute various types of projects for clients to maximize client business objectives, manage client expectations, and maintain profitability. 
  • Foster collaboration among a cross-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional business results. 
  • Maintains big-picture strategic and operational thinking balanced by strong attention to detail. 
  • Manage all communications between clients and internal team members on a given project. 
  • Provide resourcing recommendations and continuously monitor the effectiveness and bandwidth of the team.  
  • Participate and lead meetings with existing clients and internal teams to identify new opportunities to meet clients’ evolving needs as required; serves as the subject matter expert on process, scope, and timelines. 
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to team members
  • Supporting program or project estimation efforts to help generate statements of works or Change requests related to supported accounts 
  • Tactical modeling and strategic resource management to support complex project change 
  • Minimal travel is required to client sites.

  • 4 - 7+ years of Project Management experience in a digital/technology environment. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry. 
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will not be hesitant to have conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the project
  • Excellent problem-solving, organization, time management, and risk management skills. 
  • The ability to be self-directed and work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. 
  • Competency in tools such as smartsheets, Jira, Confluence and G-Suite.
  • 4+ years minimum of resource management experience.
  • Excellent scheduling and planning skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while also actively managing project timelines.
  • Project financial management of budget, ETC, EAC and profitability.
  • Experience with ecommerce and CMS platforms.
  • Strong technical project leadership experience.
  • An ability to manage technical team members and understanding of the SDLC.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working in an Agile framework, Scrum Master Certification is a plus.  
  • Experience working in a hybrid scrum and waterfall environment
  • PMP Certification
  • Having knowledge of the latest trends and tools in the industry is a welcomed addition to the role.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry; and 6 to 9 years of experience in project management in a digital/technology environment with a focus on technical projects..

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. 

Certificates and Licenses: PMP is a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position is $107,300 - $155,600. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
