Job Description

Note: Candidate may reside anywhere in the US with ability to travel up to 25% across the US to support various projects.

Overview:

Support for Project Management, in charge of creating and maintaining project schedule, logistics, resource scheduling and some budgeting responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a monthly review of project schedules, participate in monthly program reviews, provide schedule and network analysis feedback
  • Support and coordinate all schedule controls issues with Master Scheduler
  • Organize, implement and maintain scheduling management system supporting identified projects and their plans. 
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance. Identify developing problem areas. 
  • Develop and manage schedules that comply with a program's Technical Performance Requirements (TPRs), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and the Contract Statement of Work (CSOW).
  • Work with stakeholders to identify detailed tasks, durations, dependencies, to build the schedule.
  • Schedule logic relationships, performance statusing, float, and critical path
  • Work with customers and subcontractors to establish and monitor the program’s execution towards milestones, key events, external/internal dependencies and significant accomplishment criteria.
  • Work closely with contractors, government program office personnel, and other program office support staff to effectively integrate, maintain, and control schedules.
  • Produce Contract Variance reports with Root Cause and Mitigation forecasting using schedule analysis
  • Provide weekly schedule performance reports and monthly cost performance reports to program leadership for analysis and corrective action.

Must Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of complex program scheduling in public and private sector projects
  • 10 years of MS Project Experience, Planview Enterprise 1, Primavera, and other scheduling tools experience a plus
  • Understand of industry best practices, PASEG, PMBOK, and others
