The Senior Technical Program Manager – MES & Enterprise Integrations leads the Make Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) engagement within a multi-year S4 HANA transformation program. The role translates program and manufacturing priorities into a governed multi-year roadmap and owns portfolio prioritization, lifecycle management, integration, delivery readiness, service performance, risk management, and continuous improvement across MES platforms and connected ERP, automation, laboratory, quality, data, and external partner systems. Success is measured by predictable transformation delivery, reduced integration and deployment risk, reliable manufacturing execution, effective vendor and budget governance, and sustained compliance across the manufacturing systems landscape. 

Location:  100% Remote. Working hours are based on the US Central Time Zone. Minimum 6-hour overlap

Key Responsibilities 

Enterprise Integration Management

  • Oversee end-to-end integrations across ERP systems, MES, and connected enterprise applications.
  • Partner with business, technology, and third-party vendors to align integration requirements, implementation plans, system connectivity, and readiness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for integration initiatives, coordinating across applications, sites, releases, and infrastructure to protect manufacturing continuity and reliable business process execution.
  • Own and communicate the multi-year Make MES product and ecosystem roadmap, balancing global standardization, site needs, business value, technical health, and capacity.

Transformation Delivery, Validation & Deployment

  • Lead Make MES and integration readiness across design, build, system integration testing, UAT, validation, cutover, production deployment, hypercare, and transition to steady-state support.
  • Govern infrastructure, connectivity, access, monitoring, test/master data, and environment readiness for testing, validation, and deployment.
  • Develop and govern testing strategies, including integration validation and smoke testing, and ensure cross-system data synchronization.
  • Maintain an integrated view of risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, and regulatory impacts across releases; escalate concerns and drive mitigation to closure.
  • Develop and maintain environment and deployment plans, addressing conflicts, constraints, dependencies, and operational impacts.

Operational Support & Incident Management

  • Coordinate resolution of integration issues impacting business operations, testing, or production.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions across technology teams and vendors.
  • Monitor integration performance and drive continuous improvements in system reliability and efficiency.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets for integration and ecosystem activities, monitoring spend, variances, risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Plan and align resources for major releases, testing cycles, deployments, and post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
    10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing technology, enterprise applications, ERP ecosystems, MES products, or large-scale systems integration, including accountability for teams, vendors, budgets, and complex transformation delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead complex portfolios across global and site teams, influence without direct authority, make trade-off decisions, resolve conflicts, and hold internal and external partners accountable.
  • Strong experience with ERP platforms, enterprise application integrations, and technologies including APIs, middleware, cloud platforms, and data exchange standards.
  • Experience leading large-scale software releases, testing programs, and deployment activities.
  • Strong understanding of data management, governance, and cross-system data synchronization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise supply chain applications and processes.
  • Experience with digital transformation or ERP modernization programs.
  • Experience in regulated environments, preferably manufacturing, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies such as SAP BTP, AWS, EDI, API management, and middleware platforms.
