As a Senior Production Planning Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead globally across the supply chain network to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate full adoption across your network.
You will report directly to our Sr Director Materials Management and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules to optimize labor and machine resources while achieving business goals for cost control, productivity, and working capital. You will lead the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your network of sites, ensuring finished goods production plans align with site and network Supply Plans to maximize customer satisfaction and maintain working capital within business goals.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the deployment and adoption of the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) across the supply chain network.
- Develop and manage Constrained Master Production Schedules and Rough Cut Capacity Plans to address capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with supply and materials planning leaders to execute production plans and participate in monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings to approve network production plans and discuss risks and mitigation strategies.
- Translate business objectives into actionable strategies to achieve competitive advantages in the product portfolio.
- Build and develop a world-class team, implement Lean Six Sigma techniques, and drive continuous improvement to excel in key performance initiatives.
- Support Inventory/Materials Planners in maintaining accurate planning parameters and material master data.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on production planning.
- Deep knowledge of product lifecycle events and transitions to support product portfolio vitality goals.
- Expertise in developing Constrained Master Production Schedules and Rough Cut Capacity Plans to optimize resources and meet business goals.
- Experience working with material control systems such as MRP and SAP.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP, MPS, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing.
- APICS or CPIM Certification is highly desirable.
