As a Sr Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing production schedules to meet customer demand efficiently within the aerospace sector. You will be responsible for coordinating production activities, balancing supply and demand, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality and cost control.

You will report directly to our leadership team and you’ll work out of our Woburn, MA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall supply chain planning and execution process within Honeywell Aerospace, ensuring production plans align with business objectives and customer requirements to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain master production schedules that effectively balance supply and demand across the production network.
  • Analyze production capacity and material availability to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure seamless production flow and on-time delivery.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
  • 6+ years’ experience in supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP) systems.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Experience in managing master production schedules and resolving supply chain constraints to optimize production efficiency.

  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing and familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Certification such as APICS CPIM or CSCP is a plus.
  • Capability to seek security clearance
