What You'll Do

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Payroll at BambooHR, you will be directly responsible for the success of one of our most high-profile and strategic products within the BambooHR portfolio. You will be tasked with the exciting opportunity of growing our payroll awareness and market share among prospects as well as current customers. You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Experience to influence every stage of the customer journey with a unique payroll value proposition. As a member of our exceptional Product Marketing Team, you will be asked to understand the payroll product feature set and its benefits and communicate to the market through innovative and compelling deliverables such as messaging, marketing collateral, sales materials and thought leadership content.

You will:

  • Drive comprehensive go-to-market strategies that tie to business objectives and lead to payroll growth
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover market potential and unique messaging opportunities for payroll
  • Define and refine our payroll messaging and positioning to drive awareness and demand 
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Product Management, Customer Marketing, Demand Generation, and other teams to drive growth and customer success
  • Develop powerful and persuasive sales pitches and compelling assets that showcase the value of our payroll product
  • Generate internal momentum with the launch of new payroll enhancements, and prepare the organization for bringing these additions to the market
  • Work closely with product management to provide input on product roadmap based on market feedback and trends
  • Act as a subject matter expert and target audience authority as you support internal teams in achieving their KPIs and business goals

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • You have been trained in the Product Marketing or Product Management discipline
  • You have 5+ years of Product Marketing experience
  • You have 3+ years of business-to-business experience
  • You have experience with product marketing strategy and execution in high-tech companies, specifically around subscription and/or SaaS/Cloud business models
  • You have experience with all aspects of product marketing including messaging, positioning, competitive research, packaging, content creation, campaign execution, etc.
  • You have experience with data-driven market research and analysis to inform strategy, prioritization and messaging
