About The Role:
As the Senior Product Manager, Finance Systems you will oversee the delivery of the strategy and roadmap of your products to achieve business outcomes and financial objectives. You will coordinate with the Business Technology (BT) organization, business leaders and financial stakeholders to set priorities, manage new development and operations while providing oversight to the product teams. This role reports to the VP - Product Management.
Responsibilities Include:
- Promotes Grocery Outlet's unique operating model with a framework that links adoption of change to successful business outcomes
- Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations
- Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and prioritize needs
- Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts
- Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions to match company growth trajectory
- Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes
- Contribute to translating business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion product improvements
- Determine internal and external resources and skills required for the team to deliver on the product roadmap
- Guide the team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies and best practices
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product, including technical and resourcing challenges.
- Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and BT standards
- Increase adoption and consumption of product capabilities
- Manage investment decision making and finances for the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing product costs
- Serve as product manager for multiple, related products
- Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to Grocery Outlet's goals and strategy
About The Pay:
- Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 Annually

About You:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience).
- PMP and PMI-ACP certified preferred
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Retail experience strongly preferred
- Thrive in a start up like family-oriented environment
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization
- Great at building relationships and collaborating across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers
- Great at balancing priorities in a high growth environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience determining and overseeing software development initiatives
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- A strategic thinker with a strong business acumen
- Demonstrated success in defining and building products
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
