We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of our software solutions and integration for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions for gas utilities.

This role will be responsible for defining and delivering next-generation software capabilities that connect smart gas meters, communication networks, enterprise applications, and analytics platforms into a seamless utility ecosystem. The successful candidate will own product vision, customer requirements, business cases, and commercial outcomes while partnering closely with engineering, sales, operations, customer success, and external utility customers.

The ideal candidate combines strong utility domain expertise with a deep understanding of smart metering, AMI architecture, cloud/SaaS platforms, systems integration, and enterprise software products.

You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Portfolio Management and you’ll work out of Raleigh, NC or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute the product strategy for Head End Systems and associated software platforms supporting smart gas metering solutions.
  • Develop a multi-year roadmap aligned with market opportunities, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and company growth objectives.
  • Lead transition strategies supporting utility migration from legacy AMR solutions to modern AMI architectures.
  • Drive integration strategy between HES platforms and utility systems

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Own the complete product lifecycle from concept through launch, adoption, enhancement, and end-of-life.
  • Create business cases and investment proposals with clear commercial outcomes.
  • Manage product requirements, feature prioritization, release planning, and backlog execution.
  • Track product KPIs including ARR, customer adoption, margin, retention, and software utilization.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and key customers to drive co-development opportunities and enhance product offerings
  • Drive alignment between business objectives and technical execution
  • Support major customer pursuits, RFPs, solution workshops
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of enterprise software products from concept through commercialization.
  • Experience in Software integration programs
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into executable roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
