The Honeywell Fire business focuses on providing advanced fire detection, alarm systems, digital dispatch and software solutions designed to protect lives and property. The portfolio includes a wide range of products such as fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, notification devices, integrated fire and security software solutions, automated dispatch and alerting products/solutions. These systems are engineered to meet the highest standards of safety and reliability, ensuring rapid detection, digital alarm transmission and best response to fire incidents. Honeywell Fire's solutions are scalable and suitable for various applications, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, healthcare institutions, educational campuses, ECCs, and fire stations.

The US Digital Dispatch (USDD) IP-based station alerting system is transforming emergency response, reducing response times, enhancing situational awareness, and protecting first responders' health. Position Overview:

As a Product Manager Lead for US Digital Design (USDD), you will be a visionary and evangelist for Fire hardware and software products, with a primary focus on automated dispatch, digitization of alarm transmission, and SAAS solutions for ECCs and Fire Departments. You will be responsible for driving the successful launch of new products and features, from concept to market delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading NPI programs, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This global leadership role is pivotal in Honeywell Fire's growth trajectory, overseeing the delivery of best-in-class software solutions for ECCs and Fire Departments. Location: Leicester, UK 


Travel/Territory: 15-30%; mostly domestic and some international

  •  Strong Product Portfolio leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve results.
  •  Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth within a product portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the vision, goals, and priorities for the product portfolio and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.

Product Roadmap Management: Lead the development and management of product roadmaps for the entire portfolio, outlining key initiatives, features, and enhancements to be delivered over time. Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive portfolio initiatives forward. Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.


YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 6 years of expertise in managing a portfolio of products, projects, and investments.
  •  Proven track record in portfolio performance management and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management.
