Role Overview:
As a Sr Product Manager, you will operate within the product model and collaborate closely with your product team and key stakeholders to define a clear strategy and establish measurable business objectives (OKRs) for your product. You will develop deep expertise through continuous discovery, gathering customer feedback and relevant data to understand value drivers, inform priorities, and guide strategic direction and desired outcomes.
In partnership with engineers, UX designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, you will lead the delivery of impactful, customer-centric product solutions.
You will serve as the voice of the product for your team and stakeholders, ensuring needs are clearly understood and thoughtfully addressed. You will own and continuously refine the product backlog, including writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria, while prioritizing work to maximize business and customer impact.
You will foster an environment that encourages open dialogue and diverse perspectives, while inspiring others to pursue ambitious goals and uphold high standards aligned with Target’s direction. You will promote a strong sense of urgency and effectively leverage resources to navigate and overcome obstacles.

Roles and Responsibilities
Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business objectives
Establish and track measurable OKRs to evaluate product success and drive accountability
Lead product discovery efforts, including customer research, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis
Translate business and customer needs into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure focus on the highest value initiatives
Partner closely with engineering, UX, and data teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
Drive data-informed decision making through experimentation, metrics tracking, and performance analysis
Communicate product plans, progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
Identify dependencies, manage risks, and proactively address blockers
Continuously assess market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of Product Management experience or equivalent domain experience
Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated customer empathy
Experience working in an agile environment
Proficiency in writing use cases, business requirements documents, and applying data-driven prioritization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior eCommerce/retail industry experience
Prior experience building discovery-based software applications
Experience in building 0-1 products, A/B Testing and finding product market fit
MBA preferred
