As a Sr Product Management Specialist – Li-Ion Tamer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and advancing our Advanced Detection Li-ion Tamer solutions portfolio. You will be responsible for driving NPIs, market intelligence, roadmap based on product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of Li-ion-Tamer solutions that meet market demands and business objectives. You will report directly to our Li-ion Tamer leadership, and you’ll work out of our Columbus, OH office on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development and commercialization of cutting-edge Li-ion Tamer products, contributing to Honeywell’s leadership in early warning technologies and innovation.
Responsibilities- Execute product strategies and roadmaps for Li-ion Tamer products aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with product leaders, engineering, marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to define NPI product requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks.
- Conduct and manage Voice of the Customer discussions with analysis to direct the product offering roadmap. Incorporate findings into Market Requirements and Product Requirement Documents (MRD, PRD).
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch and post-launch support.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and communication to support product initiatives and business growth.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience working in relevant product management roles in fire or related industry.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, and market dynamics including market development, vertical market research, product pricing and channel strategy
- Working with market trends, customer requirements, and competitive products to drive product strategy, and NPI development and launch.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales to deliver successful products.
- Familiarity with energy storage, giga-scale battery plants, data centers and other relevant Lion-Tamer applications and technical understanding is highly desirable.
