Key Responsibilities
Product Line ownership & financial performance:
Own the commercial success of the product line, including bookings, revenue, profitability, pricing strategy, forecasting, and execution of actions required to achieve financial commitments.
Sales partnership & customer development
Serve as the primary product leader for Sales, driving market execution, supporting strategic opportunities, developing new customers and applications, and building strong relationships with existing customers to accelerate growth.
Product Lifecycle management
Lead the full product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, business objectives, and operational capabilities.
Business planning & NPI governance
Develop market, revenue, and bookings forecasts while coordinating inputs from Sales, customers, Operations, and Finance; own business case development and phase-gate decisions for New Product Introduction (NPI) opportunities.
Cross-functional leadership
Lead through influence across Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to align priorities and execute product strategies that meet customer commitments and business objectives.
Product, technology & growth strategy
Develop and execute multi-year product and revenue roadmaps, leveraging customer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and technical expertise to identify and commercialize new growth opportunities.
Executive presence & customer engagement
Effectively communicate product line performance, business cases, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership while representing the business with key customers and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or a related technical/commercial role
B.S. in a related technical
Experience in high-tech manufacturing environments, ideally related to Photonics, Photonics or Advanced Materials
Proven track record of owning revenue and profitability for a product or business line
Demonstrated ability to work across Sales, Engineering, and Operations in a matrix environment with excellent communication skills
Seasoned customer-facing experience with the ability to influence technical and business decisions.
Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
