Role Purpose:

Under guidance maintains more complex reference files needed by IQVIA production.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • This position will support the current Outlet Reference team lead in all Outlet activities.
  • Perform maintenance of reference data (Pharmacy, Hospital, Outlet, NDF, TAPS and OneKey) as required for AU/NZ Production and will take on additional geocoding tasks within MapInfo application. Additional work for editing of Health Care Professional practice addresses to ensure correct brick is assigned.
  • Answer queries thru mailbox in Chemup Outlook from external clients
  • Perform phone verification of details to validate accuracy of reference data maintained as well as captured client-required details such as pharmacy and hospital.
  • In addition, this team is expected to take the initiative to ensure that TAPS and OneKey are as aligned as possible.
  • Bridges data, comparing incoming transaction data with IQVIA’ reference data files to make a match or bridge between the two.
  • Researches and analyses to gather information from third parties that will augment the completeness or accuracy of IQVIA reference data.
  • Contact data suppliers to ensure data is received on time. Updates IQVIA reference file(s) and databases.
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • Solicits information from other IQVIA departments to identify when and how to correct inaccurate data, delete data, or add new entries to make the reference files more complete.
  • Receives input to the reference process from other IQVIA production processes.
  • Validates that the information gathered from third-party sources represents accurate new data that should result in a change, addition, or deletion in IQVIA’s existing reference data.
  • Identifies required changes to the existing reference file.
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree of any field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access, with an understanding of relational databases
  • Proficient running SQL queries is a plus.
  • Ability to resolve basic problems pertaining to database issues.
  • Has initiative and is self-motivated to see through until resolution concerns raised by Clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in handling inbound and outbound Australian voice accounts.
  • Ability to learn new applications and knows how to multi-task as the job requires.
  • Time Management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong customer focus, an attention to detail and excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to proactively identify complex problems and needs and develop solutions/recommendations to solve problems.
