Group Summary:
As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Maintain Standardized work for operations (WCT-JES)
- Monitor and Increase production quality and quantity
- Process Development
- New processes
- Optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes
- Project Management (For upcoming Change Requests)
- Preparation of calculations for conversions, auxiliary and manufacturing aids
- Capacity planning in cooperation with production
- New and Changes Equipment
- Creation of layouts with suppliers when purchasing new systems
- Design Management - Interface ENG (Implementation of process development in cooperation with R&D)
- Welding Related Topic must be aligned with W&R
- Perform and manage CI Projects
- Completion of special projects and FMEAs
- Monitor and Increase production quality and quantity
- Optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes
- Prepare and maintain standardized work for operation
- Inquiry and procurement
- Management of auxiliary operation and manufacturing aids
- Project management with suppliers when purchasing new systems
- Perform and manage continuous improvement projects
- Capacity planning in cooperation with production
- Planning and implementation of process developments and development of new technologies
- Completion of special projects and FMEAs
Requirements for job holders
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing; or 5-7 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of tool construction, robots, automation assembly and welding technology
- Experience in FMEA and problem solving techniques
