Responsible for process design, engineering, documentation, and site execution for projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, engineering practices, and client standards. The role will support the project team across design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual designs, BFDs, PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Perform process calculations, material & energy balances.
- Prepare project briefs, equipment layouts, specifications, data sheets, and bid evaluations.
- Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Support equipment procurement, design review, installation, and commissioning.
- Supervise onsite installation and manage subcontractors.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design and standards.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and execution of project activities.
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in process design and project engineering.
- Good understanding of process engineering and various unit operations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates with strong practical knowledge and relevant industry experience may also be considered.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience in Food & Beverage, Healthcare, and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Knowledge of process design and project execution.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of MS Project.
- Understanding of project management techniques and procedures.
- Exposure to installation, commissioning, vendor/subcontractor management, and site execution.
Skills Required
