About the Role

In this role you will take a central position in driving implementation of simulation tools, methods and best practices across the automotive division

What You Will Do

  • Lead the creation of processes to ensure uniform application of simulation tools during product development.
  • Provide insight into the latest research direction of the simulation industry
  • Provide leadership for the evaluation of new simulation tools
  • Drive roadmap planning and technological evolution of simulation capabilities.
  • Act as the corporate expert for the use and interpretation of simulation tools and methods
  • Utilize simulation methods to produce reliability estimates without the need for physical testing
  • Correlate simulation methods and tools to physical testing to ensure known relationships can be developed for simulation methods vs. physical testing.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science
  • 10+ years of simulation experience
  • Ability to lead teams which have no direct reporting authority
  • Effective communicator at all levels within organizations

What is Nice to Have

  • A PhD degree in simulation use with Automotive industry
  • Experience with design of Automotive ECU's

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and international travel
  • Be willing to work in an office where the regional validation laboratory is located
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
