As a Senior Director of Architecture at JPMorgan Chase within the Cloud Foundational Services (CFS) organization, you will partner with CFS engineers, Line of Business teams and various control functions to integrate Google's Cloud Platform into JPMC's broader Cloud Management Platform (Atlas). Collaborating across both business and technical domains in the Architecture function you will be accountable for both the specification of the architecture and the oversight of it's execution. Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of the design within various teams and will aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.
Job responsibilities

• Leads multiple architecture and process implementations across departments to achieve Cloud Management Platforms architecture objectives
• Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus
• Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple applications, divisions, and lines of business
• Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives while driving consensus across competing objectives
• Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
• Champions the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure oriented architecture concepts and 10+ years applied experience in infrastructure oriented architecture, ideally including cloud platform implementation, infrastructure as code and software engineering.
• Either, expertise with Google Cloud Platform or expertise integrating solutions with JPMC's infrastructure and security environment
• Experience leading large, federated cross-functional teams of architects
• Experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience working as a hands on engineer, comfortable implementing proof-of-concept/technology spikes.
