About Gen Digital and LifeLock:

Gen Digital (NASDAQ: GEN) is a global company dedicated to powering Digital Freedom through its trusted Cyber Safety brands. Gen operates two business segments. The Cyber Safety segment includes Norton, Avast, and other leading security solutions. The Trust Based Solutions segment includes LifeLock, MoneyLion, Reputation Defender, and additional offerings focused on identity, privacy, reputation, and financial wellness.
LifeLock is a flagship brand within Gen’s Trust Based Solutions segment. LifeLock pioneered identity theft protection and restoration services and continues to lead and redefine the category to meet consumer needs in a rapidly changing threat environment.

What You Will Do in This Role

End-to-End Product Strategy:
Drive a comprehensive consumer product strategy that brings new identity protection and fraud prevention products and features to market, leveraging AI to accelerate innovation. Identify strategic opportunities through in-depth research, competitive and market analysis, and a deep understanding of the evolving threats families face from identity theft and financial fraud. Orchestrate the entire product lifecycle from early concept testing, validation, and rapid experimentation, to launching minimum viable products (MVPs) that validate market fit and scaling them across geographies and platforms. Define and measure product market fit metrics to continuously refine customer journeys, ensuring each interaction delivers measurable protection, peace of mind, and lasting value.

Product Lifecycle Ownership:
Own and manage the product roadmap to deliver impactful, customer-centric innovation balancing the launch of new-to-market (0→1) products and services with enhancements to existing offerings. Partner closely with commercial, design, and engineering teams to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention, with a strong focus on product market fit metrics.

Leadership:
Lead a cross-functional team of Researchers, Designers, Engineers, Marketers, and Product peers to design, test, and deliver solutions that help families stay protected from identity theft and financial fraud. Champion a culture of experimentation, learning, and operational excellence. Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to executive leadership through clear storytelling, strategic updates, and actionable recommendations.

Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with product and business leaders to shape the overall product vision and strategic direction, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable protection and business growth.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:

You are a self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments, working seamlessly within small cross-functional teams that bring new ideas from concept to launch.

  • Proven experience bringing consumer technology products from 0 to 1 from ideation through market launch and scale, driving measurable business growth over the past 7+ years.

  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven markets (financial services, data privacy, or cybersecurity preferred).

  • Experience scaling direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses and understanding consumer engagement drivers in safety, security, and financial protection domains.

Business Case Development:

  • Expertise in analyzing business problems, uncovering root causes, and defining new economics for innovative product solutions.

  • Ability to secure resources and funding through ROI-based business cases and persuasive storytelling.

  • Strong analytical acumen able to synthesize data, identify key insights, and make sound decisions even with incomplete information, clearly distinguishing between data-backed elements and informed assumptions.

Product Launches:

  • Demonstrated success in launching new consumer-facing products and features that have meaningfully improved user acquisition, retention, revenue, or engagement.

  • Experience with rapid experimentation frameworks such as A/B testing, design sprints, prototype validation, and user story mapping to validate and iterate on ideas.

  • Proven ability to translate customer pain points into actionable user stories, prioritize effectively for agile teams, and align sprint goals to overall product vision and strategy.

  • Recent experience launching AI driven products and features.

Product Management:

  • Strong capability to convert strategic vision into actionable execution steps, collaborating across PM, engineering, and business teams to establish a rhythm of continuous delivery.

  • Experience working with new partners, understanding compliance frameworks, and navigating the regulatory landscape necessary to launch protection-focused products.

  • Ability to clearly communicate tradeoffs, delivery options, and their implications across stakeholder groups.

Stakeholder Management:

  • High energy, clear vision, and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams around a shared mission.

  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills to align stakeholders and drive consensus.

  • Skilled in distilling complex data into digestible KPIs and executive-level insights that drive strategic decisions.

  • Proven ability to build credibility and influence across both technical and non-technical audiences.

Professional Attributes:

  • Thoughtful and methodical yet biased toward action and experimentation.

  • Exceptional communication skills: written, verbal, and visual with the ability to inspire confidence across all audiences.

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, Business, or related discipline.

  • A passion for consumer technology, online safety, and protecting families’ digital and financial well-being is highly desirable.
