Position Title: Sr People Partner, Talent Acquisition
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Location: Irvine, CA

Position Summary

This position involves a mix of talent acquisition process management and other human resources duties. The primary focus is managing the company’s recruitment and onboarding processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Talent Acquisition Process: 

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes. Manage open requisitions, job postings, pre-screening and communication with hiring managers, People team, candidates and outside resources.
  • Prepare recruitment materials as needed.
  • Ensure positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Monitor and evaluate recruitment metrics and KPIs, such as time to hire, cost per hire, quality of hire, etc., and provide regular reports and insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and update job descriptions.
  • Stay current on trends and compliance within the HR/Recruiting field.

Training & Other HR Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement organizational training on effective and compliant interviewing practices.
  • Develop and implement onboarding processes for the Company to help ensure a positive new hire experience and quick integration.
  • Participate in People team projects as assigned.

New Home Co. Ambassador:

  • Champion inclusion and diversity efforts across the organization, particularly related to recruiting.
  • Effectively communicate company culture and benefits during the interview process.

Managerial Responsibility: This position does not supervise other employees.
Position Qualifications:  

  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. HR Certifications a plus but not required.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others via process and project implementation.
  • Ability to learn HRIS system, Applicant Tracking System, and other software programs to extract information to help drive human capital needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a passion for finding and hiring the best talent.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and open to change and feedback.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision in both individual and team settings.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with ADP Workforce Now and using LinkedIn for recruiting is a plus.

Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $85,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on divisional and individual performance.
