Job Title: Sr. .NET Developer

Location: Paramus, NJ

Duration: Full Time

Description:

· The Senior Applications Developer provides input and support for, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.).

· He/she participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements.

· This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations.

· He/she collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.

· This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance.

· He/she provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects.

Qualification:

· Experience with Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Virtualization

· 3 years minimum, 5+ years preferred of Development and/or QA experience w/strong design/technical/business knowledge, planning, analytical, risk management, communication skills.

· Sound leadership skills, capable of being a backup lead.

· Work experience w/Windows 7/10. Advanced knowledge of software development/coding process, including SDLC.

· Advanced skills required in application development & testing practices.

· Creative problem solving a must. See job model.

· Intermediate Level Knowledge of SQL Language, HTML, JavaScript, web development technologies, data modeling, LAN Technologies, GUI Design, Visual Studio 2005 for .NET Developers, Visual Basic .NET

· Advanced Level Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis & Design, C#, .NET, Windows operating System, Technical Knowledge of Hardware & Software, Microsoft Office, Client Quality Center (QC), Client Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Microsoft Team Foundational Server (TFS)

· Results oriented & willingly takes on responsibilities. Creates effective project & test plans to accurately track people results. Keeps up on industry & able to effectively implement process improvements & drive high quality test preparation/execution work. Flexible & adaptable to day-to-day changes. Has test tool expertise (QC, UFT, MS Excel/Access) & leads development of efficient light-weight solutions.

· Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication in order to effectively work within QA team as well as developers, users, and senior managers; self-directed and managed. Is able to drive change and results. Plans, tracks, follows up, delivers results, assesses risk, and adjusts to situations. Effective mentoring and helps the QA Lead build high performance teams. Strong networking capability throughout local and cross-portfolio organizations.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
