Job Description

Business Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to the business by translating complex data into actionable insights that inform decision-making. This role leads analytics efforts across key initiatives, builds and maintains reporting solutions, and ensures data accuracy while supporting evolving business priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical & Analytical Skills:

    • Strong experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.

    • Working knowledge of SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.

    • Proven ability to manage, manipulate, and validate large and complex datasets. Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience in data quality checks, reporting validation, and issue resolution.

  • Business & Communication Skills:

    • Demonstrated ability to work closely with business partners to define problems, clarify requirements, and recommend data-driven solutions.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

    • Experience answering ad hoc data requests while balancing longer-term analytics initiatives.

    • Ability to serve as the analytics lead on projects, guiding discussions and influencing business decisions.

  • Work Style & Core Competencies:

    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    • Resourceful and proactive in seeking out partnerships, documentation, and solutions.

    • Ability to quickly respond to data or reporting issues and drive resolution.

    • Comfortable operating with a high level of ownership and accountability.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally working within the financial services sector

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience designing scalable, well-documented BI solutions and data models.

  • Experience integrating data from a variety of sources (e.g., databases, flat files, APIs, or cloud platforms).

  • Prior experience supporting enterprise-level initiatives or cross-functional projects. Familiarity with data governance, best practices, or performance optimization.

  • Background in business analysis, analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field.

  • Experience mentoring junior analysts or helping establish analytics standards and best practices.

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $87,400 - $120,200. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
