Job Details

Establishes, directs, and coordinates business development and marketing activities for all Hemostasis Management products and service in the United States, Canada and Latin America (Americas) region. Conducts market research, evaluates sales performance, and reviews or formulates regional marketing data and results. Assists and support in the development of marketing strategy in conjunction with the global marketing teams, such as conducting conjoint analysis, and obtaining market intelligence and data. Capitalizes on unique aspects of Haemonetics’ technology and knowledge base to support continuous sales growth through marketing initiatives, sales support and customer engagement.

Essential Duties

  • Compiles and analyzes competitive information and market trends and tracks key statistics; formulates responses as necessary and communicates to the Sales team to ensure understanding and alignment of message
  • Conducts analysis of customer base and identifies trends and changes in demand to ensure that product line plans are achieved while maintaining consideration for financial implications of excess inventory; manually manages inventory at the item level as needed.
  • Develop and execute marketing plan for the annual sales meeting and regional sales meetings (as applicable).
  • Ensure customers have access to useful product line information.
  • Leads the development and successful implementation of annual strategic and marketing plans at the regional level including revenue and expense budgets.
  • Interfaces with other business units as required.
  • Leads customer focus groups, surveys and other methodologies to ensure we are in tune with customer needs.
  • Leads the development and successful implementation of annual strategic and marketing plans at the regional level.
  • Support product portfolio and support sales initiatives with effective methodologies and strategies to ensure achievement of Annual Operating Plan (revenue and expense budgets).
  • Supports Global Marketing to develop strategies and portfolio plans to meet long-term revenue goals for the region.
  • Takes primary lead for launching new products and services within respective markets (pricing, collateral, training and communication).
  • Takes primary lead on crafting regional strategies for new product/discontinuations/obsolescence and providing that to Global Marketing.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors Degree (Required)

Master's Degree  or advanced marketing training (Preferred)

Years of Experience

10 years Progressive marketing and or sales experience with a minimum of 5 years in a healthcare related industry (Required)
Previous experience with coagulation related products and/or complex medical devices (Preferred)

Training/Certifications

Skills

  • Develops and delivers effective presentations
  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OR/Trauma/ICU patient care, hospital or lab industry beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience marketing products that are a combination of hardware, software and disposables
  • International and domestic market experience including franchise management, branding, mergers & acquisitions beneficial
  • Successful record of accomplishment in product development, program management and commercial marketing
