About This Role
As the Senior Market Access Manager, you play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of patient access to our innovative therapies locally. Leading the company's operations in Chile, you will be at the forefront of ensuring sustainable business growth and timely patient access, all while achieving strategic and financial objectives. You will manage a cross-functional team, overseeing areas such as access, commercial, medical, regulatory, and administrative functions. Your efforts will be crucial in developing strategic partnerships and fostering strong institutional relations and connections with patient associations. This role not only contributes to our company's objectives but also impacts the broader healthcare ecosystem in Chile.
What You’ll Do
Define and execute the local market strategy in alignment with broader objectives.
Implement market access strategies to secure reimbursement for therapies in public and private markets.
Lead a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of high performance, collaboration, and ethics.
Develop and implement pricing, reimbursement, and negotiation strategies with payers.
Represent the company with regulatory authorities and key stakeholders.
Foster relationships with patient associations and promote shared-value initiatives.
Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and new product launches.
Manage budget and ensure business profitability, providing insights for demand planning.
Engage with KOLs, academic institutions, and strategic partners to strengthen collaborations.
Coordinate engagement initiatives with stakeholders to integrate access plans.

Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields (MBA or postgraduate studies desirable).
7-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 3-5 years in leadership roles.
Proven experience in market access, business development, and team management.
Deep knowledge of the regulatory and healthcare environment in Chile.
Advanced proficiency in English.
Strong business acumen related to the pharma/biotech industry.
Excellent negotiating skills and stakeholder management experience.

Experience with alternative commercial agreements.
Ability to manage complex situations and accelerate market access initiatives.
