Your role at Baxter:
You as Sr Manufacturing Supervisor, must promote compliance with quality requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Promote and participate in ICare's initiatives: if you see something, do something. Respond to and resolve in a timely manner the problems that may affect the quality, safety or efficiency of the product or the regulatory consistency of the process. Continuously seek regulatory completion in your process.
What you will be doing:
- Promote a cheerful interpersonal climate for all the human resources under its responsibility.
- Generate a safe/accident-free and stable work environment.
- Optimally own the production areas under their charge.
- Acquire the results established for each of its areas (efficiency, scrap, dpm's, availability of
- equipment, efficiency and others).
- Ensure that there are no significant deviations or field actions, ensuring the quality of the products
- and complying at all times with what is established in the applicable specifications and procedures
- to their areas in charge.
- Provide support to the support areas of the Production Department. (finances, products and processes, resources
- humans and others).
- Stay in sync with departmental and personal objectives assigned by their immediate outstanding.
- The manager requires an adequate balance in terms of hard work and intelligent work since
- Daily activities demand a great deal of time.
- The execution required for this role demands dynamism to fulfill the assigned activities.
- This person is responsible for coordinating, assigning, supervising and controlling the work of a large number of
- subordinates.
- Errors or failures can cause defective products to be manufactured and consequently, waste.
- high or unnecessary or/and problems with market supply.
- Due to the nature of this position, the person must connect with different areas within the company and with external entities.
What will you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering related to the area of manufacturing (Industrial, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical).
- 5+ years in comparable roles
- English B2+
- Six Sigma, APICS (certified in Production & Inventory Management), CQE (Certified
- Quality Engineer), Green Belt.
Short week: Thursday-Friday-Saturday
Long week: Wednesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday
6:00am to 6:00pm
