Senior Manager, Quality Operations Europe, Novonesis

Welcome to Quality Operations Europe:
We are a dynamic regional function supporting Quality Operations across our European manufacturing and supply chain footprint. You will lead a skilled and dedicated team of Quality Specialist that works cross-functionally with Operations and Supply Chain, Regional and Global Quality, Engineering, and Application centers at the Fuglebakken, Bagsværd, and Lyngby sites. Our mission is to enable high product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction — while continuously improving our ways of working.
You will be part of the Quality Operations Europe Leadership Team and play a key role in shaping and executing our quality strategy across the region.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Member of the Quality Operations Europe (QOE) leadership team actively contributing to overall QOE performance and organizational development and drive/support implementation of new solutions or improvement across teams and sites.
Leading the Quality Operations teams at manufacturing sites and supporting activities in application and customer co-creation centers.
Acting as a quality partner in site leadership teams to ensure strong quality performance, culture, and compliance.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain partners.
Ensuring food and feed safety programs are implemented, maintained, and effectively managed.
Managing product-related customer complaints, non-conformances (NCRs), and audits (internal, customer, third-party, authorities).
Representing quality in engineering and investment projects, ensuring Novonesis standards are built in from the start.
Developing your team through coaching, engagement, and talent development.
Contributing actively to the direction, development, and performance of the Quality Operations Europe organization.
To succeed you must:
This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, operational leadership, and collaboration. You thrive in a dynamic environment and lead with a holistic mindset — balancing people, performance, and compliance.
We expect that you:
Hold a university degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline.
Are an engaging leader with a proven ability to manage teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Bring 5+ years of relevant management experience in manufacturing or quality operations from the biotech industry, preferably within a large-scale production or supply chain environment.
Have experience with food/feed safety, GMP, ISO/FSSC standards, and regulatory compliance.
Communicate fluently in Danish & English.
Can prioritize, make decisions, and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated to thrive is a dynamic workplace with multiple prioritizes.
Location:
This position is in greater Copenhagen requiring regular presence required at our FUG (Fuglebakken) and BAG (Bagsværd) sites.
