The Sr. Manager, Project Delivery is responsible for leading a team of Project Managers who deliver complex, high-risk core banking migrations and enterprise platform implementations. This role ensures consistent execution excellence, predictable outcomes, and strong client confidence across a portfolio of concurrent transformation programs.
The Manager directly leads 10-12 Project Managers, providing delivery governance, coaching, capacity management, and escalation leadership while serving as a key partner to client executives, internal product and engineering leaders, and senior operations stakeholders.
This role is accountable for delivery quality, timeline adherence, financial performance, and team effectiveness across the full lifecycle of implementation programs.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
What you will be responsible for and what you will do
· Own execution quality and delivery outcomes across a portfolio of large-scale conversions, platform implementations for large financial institutions.
· Establish and enforce consistent delivery standards, methodologies, risk controls, and reporting across all programs.
· Lead program-level governance including milestones, dependencies, issue management, and executive escalation.
· Ensure implementation plans are realistic, sequenced correctly, and aligned to client readiness and product capabilities.
· Set clear performance expectations tied to delivery outcomes, accountability, and client experience
· Conduct regular reviews of project health, PM performance, and development needs
· Translate complex delivery challenges into clear, actionable options for client and internal leadership
Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated skills, competencies, and required experiences
· 8+ years of experience leading complex technology implementations or enterprise transformation programs
· 3+ years of experience managing Project Managers or program teams
· Demonstrated experience delivering core banking migrations, large SaaS platform implementations, or similarly complex enterprise programs
· Strong command of program governance, risk management, and executive-level communication
· Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously

Additional Accomplishments
· Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated enterprise environments
· PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent delivery certifications
· Experience scaling delivery organizations or integrating multiple delivery models
