- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Minimum 7+ years of overall HR experience
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM

- Experience in gathering functional requirements and translating them into Workday configurations
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Workday enhancements and system optimization
- Business process re-engineering
- Creating and modifying business process frameworks
- Configuring security roles and domains
- Building calculated fields and custom reports
- Experience in managing system upgrades and testing cycles
- Exposure to HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and HR challenges
- Provide strategic HR inputs aligned with business goals
- Drive employee engagement and HR interventions
- Lead functional requirement gathering from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into Workday system configurations
- Manage enhancements, change requests, and system improvements
- Configure and optimize Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Optimization, Recruitment and Onboarding, Expense, Integration, Absence, Reporting and all other major modules
- Ensure accuracy of system data and integrity of HR processes
- Work closely with IT and external consultants to implement Workday enhancements
- Perform system testing and coordinate release management
- Develop and maintain documentation for configurations and process flows
- Monitor Workday releases and recommend adoption of new features
- Ensure HR processes are compliant with company policies and statutory requirements
- Support payroll and finance teams with accurate HR data
- Oversee audit readiness related to HR systems and processes
- Develop dashboards and reports for management review
- Utilize Workday reporting tools and calculated fields for advanced reporting
- Provide workforce analytics to support business decision-making
- Identify automation opportunities within HR processes
- Drive process standardization and optimization
- Maintain governance framework for Workday security and access
Skills Required
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Minimum 7+ years of overall HR experience
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM
- Strong understanding of core HR functional processes
