The Role
Build and lead a finance-led enterprise BI function and greenfield reporting platform. Own architecture decisions, delivery lifecycle from intake to production, data modeling standards, and dashboard reliability. Manage and coach a small analytics team, partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and HR, and drive data quality by integrating systems and resolving source issues.
Summary Generated by Built In
This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to build our global, finance-led business intelligence function and the data infrastructure behind it from scratch. As one of the first members of a brand-new team, you won’t just run an existing operation; you’ll shape the practice, standards, and platform — anchored in Finance and extending across Operations, Sales, and HR — that the entire company, including our regional subsidiaries, will depend on, with your ideas feeding directly into our BI roadmap. Partnering with US-based leadership across time zones, you’ll drive reporting from intake to production, grow a small analytics team, and set the standard for what “great” looks like — a player-coach who stays hands-on in the data models and DAX while bringing the curiosity and creative problem-solving to build things that don’t exist here yet.
What you’ll do
- Help build the finance-led BI & Analytics practice from the ground up — its team, standards, and data infrastructure, with your ideas feeding directly into the BI roadmap.
- Make the foundational architecture and tooling choices for a greenfield reporting platform the function will scale on for years.
- Drive day-to-day delivery of the dashboard and reporting queue — from intake to production — across project profitability, utilization, pipeline, and FP&A.
- Manage and develop the analytics team, setting expectations, reviewing work, and coaching.
- Own production quality and reliability — make sure dashboards and reports are accurate, refresh dependably, and ship on schedule.
- Run intake and delivery: scope incoming requests, sequence the work against leadership’s priorities, and manage stakeholder expectations on timelines and trade-offs.
- Enforce data modeling standards (star schema design, naming conventions, DAX patterns) and data quality practices across the team’s reporting.
- Drive data quality at the source by working with owners of CRM, project/time-tracking, finance/ERP, and resourcing systems on issues like ownership gaps, duplicate records, and date integrity.
What success looks like in 12 months
- The BI platform is the company’s trusted single source of truth.
- Standards are documented and delivery runs on a steady cadence.
- The team has grown and levels up under your coaching.
- Your roadmap shapes decisions across Finance, Operations, Sales, and HR.

- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of modern data platforms, including cloud data warehouses and ELT tooling.
