The Senior Manager, Early Talent Programs coaches and leads a strong team to design, deliver, and continuously enhance Capital Markets intake programs, student experiences, and events that drive business performance, talent development and retention, and an exceptional learner experience. This role identifies business needs and delivers effective, performance-focused programs aligned to the business talent strategy, ensuring all program components are executed efficiently with robust change management and communications.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end strategic planning, design, and delivery of innovative learning programs and events, ensuring alignment with BMO and Capital Markets goals.
- Build interdependent teams that collaborate across functional and operating groups to create the highest value for all stakeholders.
- Lead a team that delivers best in class student experience events, orientation, and training programs designed to support role readiness and drive engagement and retention.
- Develop, promote, and manage designated programs, conducting periodic reviews, analyzing outcomes, and recommending enhancements or digital solutions for continuous improvement.
- Oversee budgets, staffing, logistics, and vendor relationships, ensuring effective resource utilization and cost management.
- Set and monitor KPIs, report on program effectiveness, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment across groups.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to business leaders, assess performance gaps, and recommend high-value learning solutions.
- Lead change management and communication strategies, including the development of tailored messaging and social media communications.
- Stay current with industry developments, updating programs to maintain competitiveness and effectiveness.
- Moderate program sessions with participants and senior leaders and provide on the ground support during peak event delivery weeks.
- Maintain external networks to understand the competitive landscape, and keep abreast of industry developments, best practices, and new technology solutions and trends.
- Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Apply expertise and think creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.

- 3-4 days in office with additional in office time required during peak program dates

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
