Purpose and Objective: 

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a Senior Logistics Analyst at our Charlotte, NC location to perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities across logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Expectations and Tasks: 

Analyze Small Parcel rate cards across UPS, FedEx, and DHL to support cost optimization and carrier selection strategies. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and other modern data engineering tools. Use Alteryx for complex data transformations and workflow automation. Collaborate with business stakeholders and site teams to translate insights into actionable strategies. Partner with the Sourcing Director to support rate negotiations through multi-round cost-benefit analyses. Provide timely feedback and recommendations to drive productivity and cost optimization. Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize logistics KPIs, cost drivers, and performance metrics. Lead cross-functional teams to execute logistics analytics initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes. Integrate APIs with logistics vendors to automate rate shopping and optimize carrier/service selection. Support real-time data exchange and integration with Carriers, TMS, and Freight Audit systems. Agentic AI Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of agent-based AI systems to automate and optimize enterprise workflows. Generative AI Enablement: Drive adoption of GenAI solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency. Integration with Azure and Snowflake Cortex Agents: Implement AI-driven solutions leveraging Azure services and Snowflake Cortex agents for secure, scalable, and data-rich applications. 

 

Education and Occupational Experience: 

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field of study and two (2) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience: 

Experience must include two (2) years involving each of the following: 

  • Databricks, Alteryx, and SQL;
  • Applying data engineering principles and using cloud-based data platforms;
  • API systems and real-time system connectivity; and
  • Identifying productivity opportunities, building analytical solutions and with recommendation engines.

 

BASE SALARY: $116,418 per year
