About the team 

FIS™ Protegent helps compliance officers cope with increasing data volumes, understand more sophisticated product risks, stay ahead of evolving regulations and rapidly respond to ongoing demands from auditors and regulators. FIS Compliance Suite of products helps firms meet their compliance and regulatory obligations – from providing comprehensive surveillance for insider trading and market manipulation to assisting in supervisory controls and supporting management reporting.

What you will be doing 

You will be a part of the FIS® Compliance Suite (formerly Protegent) next generation product development initiative, joining a team of highly motivated and focused developers to develop our next generation compliance product. This position works with Protegent Compliance Portal Solution Development Team, Business analysts and Product management to Understand the testing requirement, write test cases, create test data and perform QA ceremonies for reported issues, and enhancement requirements, testing functional scenarios, testing of Dev as well as UAT reported issues and complete the development milestones for Client UATs and Go-live. You will be responsible for testing out our brand-new cloud based big data powered compliance platform, with the ability to process very high trading volumes, provide cutting edge user experience, and build resilient & maintainable solutions. You will get an opportunity to work with multiple products and businesses and develop a deep understanding of the interesting world of trading and compliance.

What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Trading and Compliance domain for end-to-end functional testing.
• Strong understanding of Manual testing
• Good understanding of SQL, Shell scripting.
• Good Understanding of trading systems Data flow and Order life cycle events.
• Good Analytical and communication skills.
• Should do end-to-end manual testing of the end-product independently.
• Effective communication with stake holders
• Experience with MAR/MiFID rules & regulations or trade reporting and regulations in US, such as Best Execution will be a huge advantage
• Experience working with high volume enterprise applications
• Experience of test automation(Java, Selenium) and using latest automation frameworks and strategies.
• Experience developing low latency and high-performance applications
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum model

• Demonstrated expertise at working with technical and business experts from clients, including traders, compliance users and investment bank
• Experience analysing and understanding functional requirements
• Strong problem solving, debugging & analytical skills, ability to work independently with minimum guidance

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, lead and drive

Qualifications: Bachelor’s in computers science or equivalent
