As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, within Cloud Foundational Services Marketplace (Infrastructure Platforms), you are an essential part of a curious and inspiring agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities, contributions and application of deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies. As a Lead Software Engineer you are in the middle of the most complex problem areas driving out solutions with the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
- Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle

- Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

- Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions
- Degree or equivalent academic qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

- AWS and Terraform Certified
- Proficient in designing and provisioning applications on AWS Services, Terraform and Sentinel
- Own Technology Debt/Tech Modernization - ability to balance the long-term "big picture" and short-term implications of design decisions
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership for development and design of least one public cloud project
