Role Overview: As a Performance Marketing Manager at Burner, you will develop, execute, and optimize digital marketing channels and campaigns to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and analytics teams to ensure our campaigns are effective, data-driven, and aligned with our brand. Your expertise in digital advertising, analytics, and growth strategies will be crucial in helping us reach our growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute SEM Campaigns: Develop. structure, implement, and optimize SEM campaigns across Google and Bing. 
  • Optimize UA Campaigns: Continuously monitor and optimize user acquisition campaigns across various digital channels including Apple Search Ads, ASO, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and others to improve CACs and ROAS.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze campaign data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient and effective use of resources to achieve KPIs.
  • Testing: Develop hypotheses and conduct A/B tests to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and overall user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the product, analytics, and creative teams to develop reporting, campaigns, compelling ad creatives, and landing pages.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and the mobile app industry.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in performance marketing/user acquisition — ideally with mobile apps
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PPC/SEM, Apple Search Ads, Google Ads, Bing, Facebook Ads Manager, Adjust, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter who takes full ownership of channels and results, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented: Highly attentive to campaign management details, including account structure, match types, and iterative creative optimization.
  • Hands-On Manager and Coach: Willingness to get hands dirty with day-to-day tasks and campaign management, and ability to coach others to do the same.
  • Strategic Thinker: Capable of doing both tactical and strategic work, balancing immediate needs with long-term goals.
  • Effective Communicator: Ability to create compelling presentations and decks to secure buy-in from stakeholders on marketing plans and strategies.
