The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Code Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Refactor existing code to improve performance and scalability.

Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve issues in existing applications. Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on software design, development processes, and system configurations.

Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other test cases to ensure the software meets quality standards.

Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve your skill set and the team's practices.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 10 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.

Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, with strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Experience with web services (REST/SOAP), relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle), and version control systems (e.g., Git) is required.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills are essential.
Additional Skills (Optional): Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), or DevOps practices is a plus.

MUST HAVE's :

Experienced Java Developer (around 10 years experience)

Extensive experience working on legacy java applications (servlets, JSPs, Java beans).

Extensive experience with XML

Experience connecting JAVA applications to MySQL and Oracle databases

Experience refactoring legacy Java code to microservices

Experience working in Azure with Azure DevOps Tools

Experience with Gitlab
