OPPO US Research Center is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT System Engineer to support our routine business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS systems (hardware, software, and peripherals).
- Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and related services.
- Oversee user account management, device setup, and endpoint security.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure system and network security compliance, including patching and updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure IT systems align with business needs.
- Maintain IT documentation, including configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide remote and onsite IT support to employees as needed.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
- Strong expertise in Windows and macOS environments.
- Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace administration.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NetSuite or Shopify administration and integration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions such as Intune.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices and tools (EDR, SIEM, MFA, etc.).
- Experience supporting remote and hybrid work environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$200,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
